Position: Measurement Engineer - Pipeline Project

Location: Houston, TX 77002 

Mission: Design and implement measurement systems for pipeline infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Specification:
• Design and specify measurement systems, including metering and sampling systems.
• Perform meter and pipe sizing calculations.
• Select appropriate control valves.
• Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards including AGA, API, GPA, and DOT regulations.
• Documentation and Procurement:
• Develop comprehensive technical specifications and procurement documents.
• Troubleshooting and Analysis:
• Troubleshoot measurement system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Perform OPP (Operating Pressure Profile) calculations.
• Software Usage:
• Utilize software such as Autodesk Navisworks 3d viewer, Bluebeam, Visio and Adobe Pro.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas/liquid measurement within the pipeline industry.
• Strong working knowledge of AGA, API, GPA, and DOT standards.
• Proven experience with meter sizing and equipment selection.
• Must be able to work on site  in downtown Houston.
