Job Title: SSO Engineer
Location: Addison, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: Contract with potential extensions
Pay Range: $80 - $85/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SSO Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions within a highly secure enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ping Identity products and a strong background in authentication and authorization protocols. This role requires hands-on development, scripting, and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, integrate, and manage Ping Identity products (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID) for secure access.

• Implement and support authentication and authorization standards, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and MFA.

• Develop and automate IAM solutions using Java, Python, or C#.

• Work with Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift) to optimize security and access management.

• Troubleshoot authentication and access management issues, ensuring seamless and secure user experiences.

• Collaborate with security and IT teams to maintain best practices for identity management and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on SSO solutions.

• Expertise in Ping Identity products (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID).

• Strong hands-on experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA).

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for scripting and automation.

• Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, and scripting tools (Bash, PowerShell, or Perl).

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) or similar.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Knowledge of OpenShift and container orchestration.

• Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements.
