Job Title: Front End Web Developer Senior

Duration : 12 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)

Location: Remote

Pay Range : $60- $65/hr.

About the Role:

The Multifamily UX team is an important part of our Customer Experience team.
On top of traditional CX and the analysis of measurement and metrics, we are a trusted partner in our digital transformation, responsible for UX and HCD.
We ensure that the design of our technical solutions represent and meet the needs of our customers by gaining a true appreciation for them and putting them at the center of our decision-making process.
The team provides perspective, ideas, as well as concepts through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, usability tests, etc.
Together, we influence the direction, prioritization, and development within our agile teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Contribute to the vision, strategy, and development of the OneRoof design system.
Advocate for the use of reusable design elements and corresponding code to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Spearhead new initiatives related to the design system and its components.

Code and document UI components and ensure they align with design system guidelines.
Oversee the design and implementation of UI components.
Build design system tooling to improve development workflows.

Collaborate with UX design, Agile product development, and architecture teams to ensure seamless integration of the design system.
Provide feedback during reviews and work closely with team members to refine system guidelines.

Think strategically for both short-term and long-term initiatives to shape the product and improve the design system.
Stay updated on new trends and methodologies to keep the design system practice innovative and efficient.

Utilize expertise in AngularJS, TypeScript, CSS, and other front-end technologies to build and integrate design systems.
Implement and manage CI/CD and monorepo tooling for the design system.
Ensure design systems are accessible and meet industry standards.

Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the design system and its components.
Use tools like Figma and Storybook for design system management and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Design preferred or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 4-7+ years of experience with front-end development and 2+ years of experience building design systems
Experience in front-end software development using the AngularJS framework
Strong TypeScript and CSS skill
Experience developing and integrating design systems or component libraries assisting front-end developers
Expert at building design tokens
Experience with accessible systems
Comfortable with CI/CD and monorepo tooling
