• Manage and prioritize the preparation of motor fuel and sales/use monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns,
• Lead and manage federal, state, and local motor fuel and sales tax audits. Identify and communicate tax advice, feedback, and solutions with key stakeholders,
• Develop month-end general ledger tax reconciliation best practices making certain tax payments are posted and accurate,
• Develop working process to ensure motor fuel and sales/use tax rates are maintained and updated.

• BBA in Accounting
• CPA or CMI
• 4+ years of experience with excise & motor fuels tax determination & audit defense
• 2+ years of experience leading teams & projects - experience coaching more junior tax analysts
• Trading industry and ETRM experience in preferred
• Tax software is a plus (i.e. Avalara, Zytax, Vertex, etc.)
