Why/Mission:

Looking for a strong Backend Java Developer to support his team within Strategic Asset Liability Management. This is a very straight-forward developer position in terms of day to day responsibilities. They will really focus a lot of Rest services development as well, so this person should have proven experience with Rest API’s. Additionally, come 2025 this group will be doing a complete rewrite on their hedging loan + debt application, so this person is going to play a large piece in that rewrite. The goal is to keep this person as long as possible up to 24mo and potentially conversion down the road.

MUST HAVES

• 10+ years as a strong backend Java Developer
• Should know how backend gives JSON data to front end
• REST API development experience in at least 2 projects
• Springboot
• Must have Capital Markets/ Treasury finance experience
• EX: Hedging, Derivatives, Options, Futures, Swaps, Interest Rates, Commodities, Syndicated Loans, Loan structuring, debt capital markets, securitization, fixed income trading, investment banking, debt securities       

PLUSSES

• Financial Industry experience
• Angular is large plus
