Pay Rate - $55 - $60

Job Description:

• Design and implement cloud-based software solutions and services aligned with cloud strategy.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards for accessibility, security, performance, and object-oriented practices.

• Write, conduct, and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.

• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional software development team.

• Participate in requirements gathering, architecture reviews, and design discussions.

• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) for cloud resource management and automation.

• Manage cloud services on AWS, Azure, or GCP, leveraging relevant platforms and tools.

• Apply Agile development practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automation tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and CloudFormation.

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and automation tools like Ansible or CloudFormation.

• Solid experience with Linux/UNIX system administration.

• Strong background in Agile development practices and test-driven development (TDD).

• Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Architect).

Plusses:

• Familiarity with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar frameworks.

• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Knowledge of identity management frameworks and tools.

• Experience in architecting complex software solutions.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet or Salt.
