Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer with expertise in SQL Server and SSIS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions to support business processes. This role requires strong database design skills, ETL development experience, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures to enhance performance and efficiency.

• Develop and deploy SSIS packages for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Utilize C# scripting within SSIS to create customized solutions for data transformations.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers (PMs) to refine requirements and estimate effort.

• Implement, test, and validate database solutions to meet acceptance criteria and compliance standards.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system stability.

• Participate in CI/CD processes, including branching strategies, pull requests, and issue resolution.

• Document deployment procedures, maintenance activities, and key business functionalities.

• Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning and iterative development.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization and stored procedures.

• 3+ years of experience in SSIS, with at least 2+ years of hands-on development experience in designing and deploying ETL packages.

• Proficiency in C# scripting for SSIS data transformations.

• Experience working in an Agile environment with JIRA for task management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source control.

• Familiarity with JIRA and/or Horizon for ticketing and release manage
