Job Description

• We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacist with 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a retail pharmacy environment This role involves verifying prescriptions, compounding medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Verify prescription accuracy and determine necessary formulations.
• Oversee preparation, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Educate customers on medication usage, interactions, and storage.
• Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and quality assurance.
• Train and guide interns or other pharmacy personnel.

Required Skills

• Valid IL Pharmacy License.
• Retail pharmacy or high-volume order experience.
• Experienced verifying prescriptions

Note:

• Candidates must be comfortable multitasking, communicating effectively, and occasionally pushing carts (up to 30 lbs).
• The position offers consistent shifts (Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts between 7 AM-7:30 PM) with potential overtime depending on business needs.

Pay rate:

$50/hr. - $55/hr.
