Job Title:     Technical Support Technician 

Duration:    12 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion) 

Location:      New Carlisle, IN 

Pay Range:   $20-$22/hr. 

 
About the Role:
  • Looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician. Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management.
  • This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The position responsibilities include supporting the scaling of multiple data center locations and managing day-to-day capacity assistance.
  • The Network Technician will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution as directed by Technical Program Managers.
  • The ideal candidate should be highly autonomous, detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Significant experience in supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks is essential.
  • Excellent network implementation and troubleshooting skills, combined with a proven documentation methodology, are required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers are necessary.
  • The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is crucial.
  • In addition to providing top-tier management and support of vast network infrastructure, Network Technicians are expected to build or enhance tools, develop best practices, refine operational procedures, and consistently think proactively and innovatively.
Qualifications :
  • Basic Networking knowledge
  • Basic Cabling (Fiber Optic) Knowledge
  • Basic hardware and IT system understanding
  • Understand setting up servers (rack installation, wiring computers, cable installation)
  • Understand TCP/IP networks
  • Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
  • Reliable transportation
Pluses
  • Experience working in a data center environment
  • Time Management/Project Management skills
  • Able to schedule heavy activities and meet timelines
