Job Title: Senior MS Engineer

Location: Maryland Heights or Kansas City 

Duration: 6-month contract (very high possibility for extension)

Pay Range: $50/hr. to $55/hr.

Mission:

  • Need someone with 7+ years of experience to come in and hit the ground running.
  • We need someone who is comfortable with working closely with clients and has that customer service experience.
  • They are partnering with a major global client and private equity client of theirs, so they need someone who can assist with cleaning up tenants and cleaning up AD's.
  • As a key contributor to their partnership with their client, they will be responsible for seamlessly integrating into our existing operations and delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients will be invaluable in this role.
  • They will play a pivotal part in streamlining our processes, ensuring efficient tenant turnover, and optimizing our Active Directory infrastructure.

 

 Must-haves: 

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Sr./Lead Engineer.
  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Experience with AD (Active Directory) and MS 365.
  • Experience in MS Autopilot for Windows device deployment.
  • Proficient with MS technologies and cloud services, such as Azure, Office 365, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
  • Proficient in managing and configuring Intune, Autopilot, and migration tenants.
  • Experience in migrating user and device identities between Azure AD tenants.

 

Plusses:

  • Power BI or Power Automate
  • Azure Architect Certification

  • Ability to work closely in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.

 

Day to day:

  • Partnering with multiple clients to tackle a critical initiative: streamlining their tenant and Active Directory structure. (Cleaning up tenants and cleaning up AD)
  • Design, install, configure, and maintain MS systems and solutions, including Windows Server, Azure, MS 365, and other MS technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows servers and workstations
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, group policies, and organizational units.
  • Monitor systems for performance and security issues and implement solutions to optimize performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Responsible for overseeing significant acquisitions, managing shrinkage, and optimizing the client's footprint.
  • Set up and configure Intune Autopilot for device provisioning and management.
  • Managing and consolidating Intra ID and Tenant ID environments.
  • Apply patches and updates to Windows operating systems.
