Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and related technologies.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Work with and maintain applications deployed on on-premise servers.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Adhere to best practices for software development, security, and compliance within the financial industry.
Work with database systems, and be able to write efficient SQL queries.
Understand and implement CI/CD pipelines

Must Haves:

Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
Expertise in Java 17 and related technologies.
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot framework and related Spring technologies (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
Extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on on-premise server environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly with credit applications, is highly desirable.
Understanding of secure coding practices and financial industry regulations.
