Technical Analyst (Hybrid – Addison, TX or Kennesaw, GA)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to support an application modernization initiative for a leading financial services company. This role requires a deep understanding of legacy code analysis, technical documentation, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, IT teams, and business units to assess existing systems and drive technical improvements.

?? Location: Addison, TX or Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid)
?? Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical analysis of legacy application code to support modernization efforts.
• Perform code reviews and document findings to guide development teams.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Assess existing technology infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to enhance application performance and security.
• Assist in technology implementation, upgrades, and process automation.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst with a strong development or QA background (8+ years in total).
• Expertise in legacy code analysis, modernization strategies, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in .NET (preferred) or experience with C++/Java.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and IT infrastructure.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
