Title: Lead Security Architect
Type (Contract, C2H, Perm): 6-Month Contract + Extension up to 2 years (4 month cool off period)
Location: Toronto, ON M5C2W5, Canada- Hybrid 3x/week in Office (Anchor Day is Wednesday)
Shift/Core Hours: 9-5PM
Compensation: $90/hour -$100/hour
Interview Process: 1-2 Rounds
Day to day responsibilities:
• Reviewing security solutions
• Assessment of new solutions from security perspective (someone would design a system or new tech and their role to ensure its security)
• Palo-Alto Project
• Reviewing all existing applications or solutions and a lot of solutions they didn’t have a chance to review
• Involved in Palo Alto deployment (properly managed, managing overall project, managing from a design as well as implementation is done properly and that moving forward that the right processes in place to make sure it doesn't fall apart)
Must-have/key skills needed:
• 10+ security architect hands on experience
• Hands-on in terms of design with Palo Alto tool, or a similar tool (Cisco, Invanti)
• AWS Ideally (Azure or GCP)
• Fluent in Coder/Scripter: Python, Powershell
• Security engineer with a lot of experience who moved to the next level
• CCISP
• IAM
• Vulnerability management experience
• Kubernetes
• Logging and monitoring experience
• Data security experience
Pluses/education/certifications:
• Engineering Degree
