Job Summary

  • The Deal Analyst (Contractor) will assist Deal Operations with administrative responsibilities, including quoting and generating Order Forms.
  • This role partners with Deal Operations to support Workday’s Sales organization by enhancing deal strategy and operational efficiency.
  • The Deal Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, clean order forms, and maintaining operational dashboards.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role

  • Bright, high-energy individual with a passion to learn and contribute

  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, software applications)

  • Detail-oriented with strong data management abilities

  • Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and technologies

  • Capable of multitasking and managing priorities effectively

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment

  • Strong team player, able to collaborate across the organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (business or technical degree preferred)

Additional Expertise

  • Understanding of strategic sourcing, supply chain, business management, and procurement operations

  • Experience with contract management and document management

  • Strong problem-solving and business process analysis capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal and client/customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and drive team initiatives

  • Sound business judgment with strong cross-team coordination skills

  • Metrics and results-oriented mindset

  • In-office requirement: Minimum 50% onsite; remote flexibility thereafter

  • Proficiency with MS Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Assist in general administrative tasks related to Deal Operations

  • Generate and manage Order Forms

  • Ensure accuracy in pricing and contract documentation

  • Maintain and update operational dashboards

  • Work cross-functionally to support Sales teams and optimize deal processes

  • Provide data analysis and insights to improve deal efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle or strong desire to apply sales process experience

  • Understanding of software pricing models (SaaS pricing and licensing models is a plus)

  • Ability to engage with cross-functional teams to provide deal support for Sales

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented

  • Team player with experience working across functions to deliver customer/prospect/client-facing proposals

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) preferred; other CRM experience acceptable

  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel

  • Prior experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations is preferred
