Risk Analyst: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Day to Day Responsibilities 

• This role requires automating the process of identifying and remediating vulnerabilities and compliance in a Hadoop platform.  

• Resources should be able to work closely with the global security team in remediating and reporting the platform compliance to security standards.  

• Hadoop Platform governance, Vulnerability management, Change management, incident management, Third party vendor co-ordination 

Must Haves 

• Understanding common vulnerabilities CVEs 

• Good understanding of Platform Security for Cloudera Hadoop Platforms 

• Good communication skills to interact with Vendor and Information security teams. Programming, 

• Write effective, scalable code in Python 

• Test and debug programs 

• Improve functionality of existing systems 

• Assess and implement feature requests Linux/HDFS? 

• Working knowledge of Linux OS and HDFS 

• Understand and implement HDFS platform security and data protection solutions 

• Write and decode shell scripts 

• RCA of HDFS job failures Python, Azure . Knowledge of container security (in private and public setup). 

• Experience in CDP/CDW (Cloudera) Platform Administration 

• Experience in IT Incident Management Tools (i.e. Nexus, Remedy, ServiceNow etc.) 

• Exposure to CDH/CDP System Security and Governance Tools (i.e. Ranger, Sentry, Atlas, Navigator etc.) 

• Exposure to SDLC Tools (i.e. JIRA, Scrum etc.) and Concepts (i.e. Plan, Design, Build etc.) 

• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills Qualification
