PMS Deployment Lead- Open for remote (10% travel required)
Pay range- $45-55/hr
 
Direct Notes 
  • Looking for candidates with relevant hotel experience in a role leading a team
  • Hotel experience with OPERA v5 or OPERA Cloud PMS experience preferred
  • Responsible for migration of majority of client property from legacy system to Opera Cloud PMS
  • Making sure everyone is following the preparational steps
  • Lead experience in any Hotel
  • Administrative work and leading training sessions
  • The interview process will probably just be one interview with Hiring Manager
  • There's not a whole bunch of traveling involved. The only one that we have on the book right now is actually right off the bat, which is a week in Chicago. And that is the week of 28th April until the 2nd of May. That's one where we come together with the entire team about 15 people. So that will be a great onboarding opportunity for the resource. Other than that, we don't have a lot of things on the books. So it will be one or two trips maybe a year.
  • We're doing a bit of training. Thankfully, we've been able to outsource the majority of training for hotels. So, there will be a bit of training required for the resource. Those will be remote trainings for an audience up to 30 hotels, so let's say up to 50 people or 60 people if we're on a busy day. But it might be 10% of the job.
  • Deep expertise of Opera PMS would be preferred, but if we do have a colleague that has been a leader at a hotel for a couple of years, do expect them to understand the system and then we can work them towards a level that we require.
PURPOSE:
  • We are looking for a qualified candidate to support client's Global portfolio of 1300+ hotels through the transition process to client's new Property Management Suite, Opera Cloud & Colleague

  • This role will be responsible for preparing the hotel configuration data used to build Opera, conducting project kickoff and training webinars, and migrating data to the new PMS
  • This will require interaction with hotel teams, vendors and regional teams across the globe.
