Pay Range: $ 50 - $ 55

Job Description:

• Automate the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities and compliance in a Hadoop platform, working closely with security teams to ensure platform compliance with security standards.

• Develop, test, and debug scalable Python code, including shell scripts, to improve existing systems and assess feature requests related to platform security.

• Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts, with a focus on Hadoop (Cloudera), Linux OS, HDFS, and container security, both in private and public setups.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors, manage incidents, and ensure adherence to IT security governance and change management protocols.

• Utilize tools like Ranger, Sentry, Atlas, and others to enforce security governance and conduct risk management tasks, including performing root cause analysis for job failures.

Must-Haves:

• Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities (CVEs) and platform security for Cloudera Hadoop.

• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and working knowledge of Linux OS and HDFS.

• Experience with vulnerability management, incident management, and security governance tools.

• Ability to assess security risks, work with third-party risk assessors, and handle compliance reporting.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with CDP/CDW platform administration and exposure to SDLC tools like JIRA and Scrum.

• Familiarity with container security and experience with tools such as Nexus, Remedy, and ServiceNow.
