Position Details:

Client:         Audio visual equipment supplier
Job Title:    Installation Technician
Duration:    12 Months (possibility of extension or conversion)
Location:    Richmond, VA
Pay Range: $22-$26/hr.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
  • The role involves traveling to project sites and other local client locations to carry out permanent installations of audio-visual equipment. 
  • This includes setting up systems like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX, and installing projectors, screens, monitors, and speakers. 
  • The job requires reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
Required Skill:
  • Candidates should have hands-on field experience on commercial project sites and possess a valid driver's license. 
  • A background in cabling or low voltage work, particularly the ability to independently pull cables, is preferred for TECH II roles. 
  • Strong professionalism, a great attitude, a solid work ethic, and the ability to use tools are essential for both TECH I and TECH II positions.
