Job Title:    Inside Sales Representative
Duration:    4 Months (possibility of extension or conversion)
Location:    Lansing, MI
Pay Rate:    $14 - $16/hr.

About the Role:

• Seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling floral and grower products, including enclosure cards, envelopes, computer forms, and plastic stake tags for plants.
• This role involves maintaining and managing customer accounts, with a focus on order entry, design, pricing, cost analysis, and production scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Sell floral and grower products to clients.
• Maintain and manage customer accounts.
• Perform order entry and assist in design (no software skills required).
• Develop pricing strategies and conduct cost analysis.
• Resolve customer issues and assist in production scheduling at manufacturing facilities.
• Engage in heavy phone contact with both internal and external customers.
• Contribute to a fast-paced team environment while also working independently.

Education Qualification:

• High School diploma required.
• College degree preferred, with a concentration in business or accounting.

Required Skill:

• Strong sales experience and extroverted personality.
• Highly organized and driven with a professional tone.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Interest in learning about manufacturing machine capabilities.
• Experience in developing pricing strategies and conducting cost analysis.
• Strong comfort level with accounting and numbers, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS suite; knowledge of AS400 is helpful.
