About the Role:
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide assistance to end users on various technical issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems through telephone calls, emails, and in-person requests. This role requires documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues to ensure timely resolution.
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support to end users 
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems 
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for support 
  • Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution 
  • Follow pre-established guidelines and instructions 
  • Work under immediate supervision 
  • Report to a supervisor or manager 

  

Education Qualification: 

  • Associate's degree in a related area 
  • 0-3 years of experience in the field or a related area 

  

Required Skills: 

  • IT technical skills background 
  • Experience with fiber optics 
  • Knowledge of fiber connections such as MTP, MPO 
  • Hardware troubleshooting experience 
  • Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper switches
