Required Skills:

  • Practical experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and its tools.
  • Proficiency in Spark and at least one programming language (Python/Scala).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in data warehousing architectural approaches and big data (Cloudera).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with client-service models and customer orientation in service delivery.
  • Ability to see the 'big picture' for a solution by considering all potential options in impacted areas.
  • Capacity to understand and adapt to newer technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new soft and technology skills and for coaching, mentoring, and training peers.
