Job Summary:
  • Join the Experience Marketing team as a Senior Manager, Marketing Events, playing a vital role in executing external, high-profile events attended by Workday customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and employees.
  • These events aim to build brand awareness, drive pipeline development, and educate attendees.

Position Overview:
  • You will lead the planning and execution of Tier 1 Ancillary Events at Workday Rising, collaborating across internal departments and with external agencies.
  • This role requires a seasoned event professional with strong project management, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Tier 1 Ancillary Events at Workday Rising.
  • Manage event logistics (vendors, signage, food & beverage, technology needs).
  • Oversee agencies/suppliers for quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with field marketing, sales, alliances, and other internal teams.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and timelines.
Project & Timeline Management:
  • Create and manage detailed event timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on time with clear accountability.
  • Identify and resolve any execution challenges.
On-Site Event Management:
  • Lead on-site execution at Workday Rising.
  • Manage event setup, registration, content delivery, and guest experience.
Post-Event Analysis & Reporting:
  • Conduct event debriefs and prepare post-event reports.
  • Analyze feedback and data to improve future events.

Required Qualifications:
Experience:
  • 7+ years in event planning, with emphasis on large-scale corporate events.
  • Proven track record with flagship events (15,000+ attendees).
  • Experience working with agencies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
Skills & Competencies:
