About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Software Engineer to join our team.
• This role is ideal for an expert in systems software engineering who can undertake complex projects and make informed decisions on intricate or ambiguous issues.
• The successful candidate will ensure that system improvements are effectively implemented and monitored to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
• Make complex modifications to existing software to meet specialized needs and configurations. 
• Establish and communicate common goals and direction for the team.
• Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Monitor project schedules and costs to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Education Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills

• Six to ten years of experience in a DevOps or related technical role.
• Expertise in systems software engineering.
• Strong decision-making skills for complex or ambiguous issues.
• Ability to design and implement system improvements for increased efficiency.
• Experience in leading and guiding a team, providing direction and training to less experienced staff.
• Proficiency in monitoring project schedules and costs.
