Job Title:        Security Support Engineer (KMS Support Engineer)
Duration:       12 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)
Location:        Jersey City, NJ
Pay Range:     $115-$120/hr.

About the Role:

• The Security Support Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining security solutions, ensuring production stability, and conducting security analysis within their area of expertise.
• This role requires in-depth knowledge of Key Management Systems (KMS), and involves supporting the engineering and service delivery management activities for the platform.

• Evaluate, design, develop, deploy, test, and transition security capabilities and processes.
• Deliver and maintain technical documentation related to the engineering of the platform.
• Provide expert support for processes related to the platform.
• Create, maintain, and ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, baselines, guidelines, and control standards.
• Support the Service Delivery Management activities for the platform.

• A degree in a relevant technology or security field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience deploying and managing KMS/HSM technologies.
• Previous experience governing KMS/HSM projects or programs.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Requires a minimum of 10+ years' professional experience in the technology field, including a minimum of 5+ years of security experience.
• Experience in the development and maintenance of tools, procedures, and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of technologies and security concepts.
• Ability to present complex solutions and methods to a general audience.
• Security certifications are a plus.
• Team leader experience is a plus.
