Job Title: Senior Network Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Systems Engineer to join our enterprise technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving network architecture initiatives, evaluating third-party solutions, and developing automation to streamline processes across a complex network environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, wireless deployments, SD-WAN, and network security platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure network architecture models, blueprints, and deployment playbooks.
• Conduct evaluations of third-party products and technologies for enterprise adoption.
• Ensure all solutions align with architectural standards and policies.
• Support the development of automation solutions to replace manual or inefficient network processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology compliance and integration.
• Act as a subject matter expert on network technologies and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment, helping to resolve technical and organizational blockers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Cisco Route/Switch, Cisco DNA Center, and Cisco ISE.
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco, Palo Alto, or others).
• Knowledge of wireless access point deployments (Cisco Aironet, Aruba, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) models.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Knowledge of BlueCat DDI, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Experience with proxy configuration and management.
• Understanding of SSO (Single Sign-On) implementations.
• Exposure to network automation and scripting (Python preferred).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools or infrastructure-as-code platforms.
