Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Application Trade Support Analyst to join our Global Markets team, supporting the Front Office FICC Credit business. This is a critical, high-visibility role within a fast-paced trading environment that requires strong business and technical acumen. You will be responsible for providing application support for trading systems, with a particular focus on Bloomberg TOMS, front office operations, and fixed income products.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day application support for the FICC Credit Trading desk and related systems, including Bloomberg TOMS.
  • Act as the first point of contact for front office users to resolve trading system issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with Application Developers, Support Leads, Infrastructure teams, and global stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive permanent resolutions through Problem Management.
  • Monitor application performance and ensure system stability in a high-intensity, time-sensitive trading environment.
  • Participate in system release management, testing, and change control processes.
  • Document support processes, maintain knowledge articles, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in application support roles within Global Markets / Investment Banking / FICC 
  • Strong understanding of Bloomberg TOMS and its integration within front office environments.
  • Exposure to FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities) products and credit trading.
  • Proficiency in managing application issues in real-time with minimal impact to trading operations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic trading floor environment.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Shell), SQL, and job scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Experience supporting applications in Unix/Linux environments.
