Title: Accounting Project Manager

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Rate: $70/hr to $80/hr

Duration: 6 Months

Job description:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Day to Day:

• Team runs this program in accounting that is focused on a set of goals – need for the PPM to report on these goals:
• Gathering feedback on the progress of the goals
• Highlighting key challenges
• Communicating that through bimonthly emails
• Scheduling/facilitating meetings to discuss progress of these goals
• Be working on a few other businesses launches that come and go (intakes received through the year).

Must Have:

• Accounting knowledge
• Systems implementation experience
• Project Management experience
