Role: Business Development Manager

 

Location: Anywhere on the West Coast- US

 

The Purpose, Role Definition, and Requirements: The WHY and WHAT for a Business Development Manager:

  • The executive will be responsible for seeking new business and growing existing business relationships with MSPs. The role will also involve presenting business solutions to the clients, partnering with Recruiting Managers to help clients meet their short and long-term business objectives, while meeting Collabera’s strategic business goals. Manages the placement of IT professionals with the client/s.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for seeking new business and growing existing business with MSPs with strong forecast and funnel management process
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the MSP organizations and drive penetration in various functions
  • Able to build strong rapport and client relationships with MSPs where you remain aware of customers’ applications, needs and wants as a strategic partner.
  • Responsible for attending various networking events like SIAs, NMSDC etc.
  • Sources market intelligence from MSPs, consolidates information, identifies trends and consults with hiring managers on insights gained and impacts to hiring strategy.
  • Bring together and create integrated opportunities with end-to-end solution delivery requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts
  • Act as POC for customers regarding business service issues, questions and concerns.
  • Consistently follow up to ensure customer’s satisfaction, promoting loyalty that will result in repeat business and referrals.
  • Pro-actively generate and close new business opportunities
  • Produce sales proposals and deliver sales presentations, providing accurate and timely sales forecast information when required.
  • Participates and supports Quarterly Business Review prep and delivery for supported programs.
  • Document all client/ supplier reported issues and track resolution through to completion ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in CRM system
  • Determine budget and timeline for business service delivery
  • Work with Recruiters in filling SOW requirements and lead cross functional teams to meet business goals.
  • Identify gaps and develop corrective plans.
  • Perform customer negotiations as and when needed


Essential Education, Skills, and Environment:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters is highly preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in MSP relationship management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the MSP and the client
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, disciplined, enthusiastic and resilient.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong sales negotiation and sales closing skills.
  • Proven track record of over achieving on targets
  • Open to travel

Compensation: $75,000-$100,000 /yearly + variables
