Location: Holtsville, New York (NYC suburb)
Schedule: On-Site 5 dayz/week.
Hours: 8am-5pm.
Duration: 3-month contract.

Mission: Own standard electronics testing using common electronics test equipment, reworking of printed circuit boards/soldering-components, electrical/RF testing, following test plans, providing test reports, and assisting with the design, build, repair, calibration, and modification of electrical components and assemblies for engineering evaluation.
Day-to-Day:
We are looking for an Electronics Technician to perform hands-on electronics testing and hardware support for engineering team in Holtsville, NY. This individual will work heavily with common test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers, and thermocouples, to validate, troubleshoot, and characterize hardware. They will also be responsible for printed circuit board rework and fine-pitch soldering (including 0201 components), as well as assembly and disassembly of products during engineering evaluations. A key part of this role involves executing Electrical/RF test plans, capturing measurements, documenting results, and supporting engineers with prototype builds, lab setups, and general hardware debug throughout the development cycle.
Must Haves:
- 2-5 years of engineering/technical experience as an electronics technician.
- 2–5 years of Standard Electronics Testing experience using common Electronics Test Equipment like Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Spectrum Analyzer, and thermocouples. .
- 2–5 years of Printed Circuit Board Rework/Soldering experience, including handling 0201 chip components.
- 2-5 years of experience with Electrical/RF(Radio Frequency) Testing, following test plans, and providing test reports.
- 2-5 years of experience building, repairing, calibrating, or modifying electrical components and circuity
- Strong MS Office skills(Work, Excel, Outlook, Explorer.
- Team oriented, receptive, fast learner, and comfortable supporting engineering staff.
Preferred:
- Exposure to control panel construction or mobile radio technology.
